They decide to handle each siblings problem. Marilyn was born September 8, 1955, in Crosby, the daughter of Irven and Carol (Wilson) Jacobson. She grew up on the family farm in Divide County. Marilyn graduated from Divide County High School in 1973, and attended North Dakota State University where she received an associate degree in Early Childhood Development. She moved to Minot in 1978 to study music at Minot State University. Marilyn was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington where she served as organist for many years. She sang or played piano or organ for many weddings and funerals. Marilyn was a member of the Burlington Community Choir for several years and enjoyed performing in the Cantatas. Marilyn is survived by sons, Bradley, Burlington and Nathan, Minot brother I.J.(Bev) Jacobson, Crosby sisters, Karen (Dale) Lucas, San Antonio, Texas, Margie Jacobson, Castle Rock, Colorado, Jeanine (Steve) Rodvold, Fargo, Laurie (Kipp) Jenson, Minot and Lu (Danny) Roehrich, Strasburg numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington, North Dakota Organ Transplant Fund or the University of Minnesota Foundation Living Donor Transplant Program Fund.
